More Landis...

Testosterone 101.
"If no such comparable data is available, Pipe said, the rider will have to be tested again in the future. For this reason, Pipe said he was surprised that the findings from Landis's A sample have been made public."

Hmm, something isn't adding up here. Could the issue of the result actually be a character sabotage by his own team Phonak management? They are the one's who made it public - not the UCI. The UCI only confirmed this after Phonak made the announcement. Landis has made it clear he is talking with other teams regarding contracts after his expires with Phonak after the current season.

Could someone or someones be taking out a pre-emptive revenge on Floyd on the assumption he will be leaving the team?

Or could it be a sabotage by the UCI since they did actually inform the team of the results (not certain if they directly informed Landis)?

Ban over?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I'm not ready for it to be over.

Apollo of Hawkeyeindia.wordpress.com has commented bellow:
"The ban is over. I can access ur site without a proxy from india"
What? So soon? Well, I won't be able to confirm this today or for at least 10 days. I'm outta here.

Ciao

Still the man...

He didn't do it.

UPDATE: Rusty breaks what he believes is the real story - the fact Landis tested positive for unusual levels of testosterone is proof positive he's NOT FRENCH.

On a serious note, I'd like to point out what I believe is the real story here: Momma Landis.
Arlene Landis, his mother, said Thursday that she wouldn't blame her son if he was taking medication to treat the pain in his injured hip, but "if it's something worse than that, then he doesn't deserve to win."

"I didn't talk to him since that hit the fan, but I'm keeping things even keel until I know what the facts are," she said in a phone interview from her home in Farmersville, Pennsylvania. "I know that this is a temptation to every rider but I'm not going to jump to conclusions ... It disappoints me."

"He is prominent and temptation is strong," she said. "He is still my wonderful son. If it has happened I love him as much as if he had won... (his) temptations are different than mine."

That's one seriously sincere and FAIR mother. This woman is an example for all mothers around the world. As well as an example of the stark contrast between those who call themselves followers of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and those who worship the false god Allah of the false prophet Mohammad (Yeah - you read that right readers of India).

Could you imagine a mother of a Hammas homicide bomber extorting the same fairness. All I'd expect to here is, "Oh, no, he couldn't have done that. He's a good boy. He never did anything or said anything against Allah. No, that's not my son. It's the evil Jews." Only because that all we've ever heard, of course.

Momma Landis is a lady. I still firmly believe Floyd hasn't let her down. (I pray that he hasn't.)

UPDATE II: ... and Floyd is a gentleman.
"I can handle anything. I don't look for sympathy. I take what I get in life and I deal with it. But my mom's a saint so I ask, please, leave her alone."
Yeah, they'll leave her alone... like they left Dianna alone.

Listen to the press teleconference here.

More quotes:

"No, c'mon man,"

"I know it's their job," he said, sadly, "but they need to leave her (Momma Landis) out of this."

Even more: Could it be that mixing beer & Jack Daniels is the elusive "fountain of youth" (aka testosterone stimulant)? I'm on my knees praying really hard. (You do know that alcohol is offensive to Moslems, don't you. - Ed)
