I'm not your slave, but thanks for asking.

This is a real shocker:
Gov. Gary Locke, with only a few weeks left in office, is expected to propose a tax increase of about $500 million...

No! An outgoing Democratic Governor proposing tax increases just a few weeks for he leaves? Say it ain't so. This in a state where the unemployment is well above the national average. I wonder if the people here will ever get it.

But let me tell you something, the Democratic representatives in this state are nervous.
Like many Democrats, House Majority Leader Lynn Kessler, D-Hoquiam, said she's not ruling out tax increases, but noted "it's going to be difficult to sell."
"We're the ones who are going to have to vote for it," she said. "Our members aren't closed, but they are very cautious."

They NEVER expect for Dino Rossi (R) to win the Governorship - it scares the living shnikies out of them, and that is why they will do whatever it takes to retain the Governor's residence. It will allow them to remain living in their fantasy world, until the next election.

It's an exciting time to be living in Washington. The idiots (and I don't use that term lightly) running the Democrat Party are only asking for a Republican* "revolution" here and things could get very ugly. Go ahead, continue with your nonsense - it will only serve your opponents in the end.

*By Republican I do not mean "conservative", just simply that it will push people who generally vote Democrat to vote Republican in disgust of what they are trying to pull with the Governorship. On top of that, if Gregoire somehow ends up being the Governor this state will pay for it and the next governor is almost certain to be a Republican.
